SIZE + FIT
Sizing and fit can be a cause of anxiety when purchasing jewellery, and we can sympathise. When investing in a future heirloom, it’s important to take time and care to find a fit that is comfortable, and makes you feel a million bucks.
If you’re able to, we would recommend visiting us in store so we’re able to take measurements for you, but this isn’t required.
Necklaces
In most cases, our necklaces will fit everyone comfortably. However, particularly styles such as a tennis necklace are less fluid, and chunkier pieces can sit differently when stacked together; therefore fit should be considered. We use inches (in) for our necklace lengths.
Measuring Neck Size
To gauge the fit of a necklace, we would recommend using a simple length of string and a measuring tape:
1. Cut a piece of string to the same length as the necklace you’re eyeing.
2. Drape it around your neck to see where it falls. It’s also important to consider the dimensions of a pendant.
You can also simply measure an existing necklace from your collection that you feel fits well and sits nicely with other styles in your stack.
Necklace Size Conversion
Length (IN) | Length (CM) |
---|---|
15 | 38.1 |
16 | 40.6 |
17 | 43.2 |
18 | 45.7 |
Bracelets
Size and fit will depend heavily on the type of bracelet you purchase. A chunky cuban link chain will need slightly more room to move on your wrist than a slinky chain. We use inches (in) for our bracelet lengths.
Measuring Wrist Size
To gauge the fit of a bracelet, we would recommend using a simple length of cord and a measuring tape:
1. Cut a piece of string or cord, similar to the girth of, and to the same length as, the bracelet you’re eyeing.
2. Drape it around your wrist to see where it falls. It’s also important to consider the thickness of the bracelet, and if there are any charms.
You can also simply measure an existing bracelet from your collection that you feel fits well and sits nicely with other styles in your stack.

Earrings
When choosing an earring it’s crucial to consider all dimensions of the piece. Some of us have small ears, others thicker lobes, and these normal variations can impact how your pieces will look and feel during wear.
Elements To Consider
Earring Drop: How long the dangly part of an earring is and how it sits.
Ring + Bar Gauge: How thick the ring or bar is at its widest point.
Bar Length: How long the bar that extends through your piercing is.
Backing Depth: How far the backing or closure protrudes from the back of your earlobe.
Measuring Earlobe Size
When choosing to measure either an earlobe or another of your earrings, the easiest way would be to use a tape measure, length of string or strip of paper:
1. Cut a piece of string or cord, to the same drop length as the earring you’re eyeing.
2. Drape it from your piercing to see where it falls. It’s also important to consider the thickness of the earring, and if there are any charms.
You can also simply measure an existing earring from your collection that you feel hangs well and sits nicely with other styles in your stack.
Rings
There are multiple ways of determining your ring size; such as measuring circumference of your finger or measuring the circumference of a ring you already own. We use UK grading (A-Z) for our band sizes.
Measuring Finger Size
When choosing to measure either a finger or another of your rings, the easiest way would be to use a tape measure, length of string or strip of paper:
1. Simply wrap this around your finger at the point you wish to wear your ring.
2. Take the measurement from the tape, or use a ruler to measure the string or strip of paper.
3. Using the circumference measurement you’ve just taken, use the conversion table below to determine your size.
There are also numerous ring sizing guides and tools that are available and very affordable, which makes the sizing process simple and quick.
Ring Size Conversion
The below table relates to the circumference of your finger in the position you wish to wear your ring. If you are in-between sizes or you have particularly large finger joints, we suggest sizing-up.
